No audio-visual media item such as DVDs will be sold. A small amount of technology will be sold, such as printers and tablets

U.S.-Dakota War of 1862: A Forgotten Battle

In August 1862, a conflict in Minnesota between the Dakota and U.S. government erupted into war. Join Sue Baugh as we learn about this forgotten battle. L. Sue Baugh is an award-winning writer and speaker on topics related to history, science, and traditional cultures. To learn more about the U.S.–Dakota War, she visited the Minnesota battle sites and interviewed both Dakota and settler descendants. It is evident that both sides are still affected by the 1862 conflict.
