Summer Concert Series: Kaben Kafo

Get your lawn chairs ready for the return of our annual outdoor concert series! This month, we'll enjoy a performance of traditional West African djembe drumming courtesy of Kaben Kafo, a percussion ensemble whose name means "let's play together" in the Malinke language. This style of drum music dates back to the 12th century. Limited seating will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Library's second floor.
